Membership
Membership is available to firms, companies and organisations that are recognised as having a continuing interest in trading in Refined and/or other descriptions of white sugar. The Council would not consider an application for membership unless the applicant has completed at least two years satisfactory trading.
There are currently just over one-hundred members representing over 40 countries and they are encouraged to play an active role in the Association's affairs by nominating representatives to act as council members or arbitrators.
The current rate of annual subscription is £600 and there is an initial joining fee of £1,000.
If your contractual partner has informed you that they are members of The Refined Sugar Association, you may verify this by asking to see a copy of their membership certificate and by contacting the Secretary to confirm the claim to membership.
