Membership
There are two forms of membership available. Full membership is available to organisations recognised as having a continuing interest in trading Raw Sugar. Affiliate membership is available to organisations recognised as providing a service to the Raw Sugar Trade. The expression "Organisation" means a firm, company or other organisation.
Full Membership
There are currently over eighty Full Members representing over forty countries and they include trading houses, refiners and producers. Full Members are encouraged to play an active role in the Association's activities by nominating representatives to act as Council members or as arbitrators. All Full Members are consulted on any Rule changes which the Council may wish to implement. The current annual subscription is £600 and there is a joining fee of £1,000.
Affiliate Membership
There are currently nearly fifty Affiliate Members representing Law firms, Superintendent companies and Insurance companies. Affiliate membership is viewed as an opportunity to bring those organisations providing services to the Raw Sugar industry trade into formal contact with the regulatory centre. The current annual subscription is £500 and there is a joining fee of £1,000.
